Vice City Hardlined adalah mod yang bertujuan untuk membuat setiap misi sulit dan/atau membuat frustrasi, ditujukan untuk pemain Vice City yang bersemangat dan bagi mereka yang mencari tantangan. Perubahan misi dapat bervariasi menjadi perubahan sederhana namun efektif, hingga pengerjaan ulang yang membuat misi hampir tidak dapat dikenali.

Fitur utama dari mod:

36 misi cerita dibuat lebih menantang;
21 misi sampingan juga dibuat lebih sulit;
Model pemain baru – Tommy bosan dengan game ini;
Akses terbatas ke senjata dan alat yang ampuh;
Paket tersembunyi, suap, dan pengambilan senjata dihapus untuk menghilangkan keuntungan mudah;
Nerf senjata – mengurangi efektivitas;
Tommy lebih rapuh – kesehatan dan baju besi lebih rendah;
Simpan di mana saja (jika tidak dalam misi) dengan memasukkan kode curang “PPP”;
Coba ulang misi sekarang berarti kematian tertentu;
Perubahan peta kecil untuk memastikan kompatibilitas dengan misi tertentu.

Vice City Hardlined

Vice City Hardlined is a mod that aims to make every mission difficult and/or frustrating, targeted towards passionate Vice City players and for those looking for a challenge. The mission changes may vary to simple yet effective changes, all the way to reworks that make the mission almost unrecognizable.

Main features of the mod:

36 story missions made more challenging;
21 side missions also made harder;
New player models – Tommy is tired of these games;
Limited access to powerful weapons and tools;
Hidden packages, bribes, and weapon pickups removed to eliminate easy advantages;
Weapon nerfs – reduced effectiveness;
Tommy is more fragile – lower health and armor;
Save anywhere (when not on a mission) by entering the cheat code “PPP”;
Mission retries now mean certain death;
Minor map changes to ensure compatibility with certain missions.
